Help students expand their vocabulary by reading.

This material contains 5 incomplete tongue twisters.Student will complete each line by adding the same letter. Students practice saying the tongue twisters in pairs and/or with the instructor. Second activity has fishing vocabulary with missing first and last letters and matching definitions.

This project is designed for EFL learners whose English language proficiency level is B1 and above, according to CEFR. To introduce students to the concept of entrepreneurship and its value. Additionally, this project attempts to encourage students to become self-dependent financially and develop their entrepreneurial mindset.Students will improve their speaking skill and learn business and entrepreneurship vocabulary. This will enable them to talk and learn about entrepreneurship.

General Description:This guide teaches academic reading strategies and skills, English vocabulary, dictionary skills, and language competencies in the context of reading John Lewis' Walking with the Wind. The book guide is intended for English language learners to assist them in reading, discussing, and comprehending the text. 

This page is meant to be printed out and distributed to students as a blank template to record new words and phrases. Ideally, the papers are hole-punched, and students can create a alphabetized Personal Dictionary throughout the year that demonstrates their learning. These are half-sheets, so some printing, chopping, and hole punching is required.

Students will be able to define a homophone, give examples, and use homophones correctly according to their definition.  Students will practice differntiating between two homophones and using the correct one in a sentence. This lesson addresses the following NDE Standard: NE LA 5.1.5.b, NE LA 5.1.5.c, NE LA 5.1.5.d, and NE LA 5.1.5.e.It is expected that this lesson will take students 90 minutes to complete.
