This is the lab manual for the Fay Lab at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School for Marine Science and Technology. The focus of our work centers around developing interdisciplinary modeling approaches to extend the scope of applications for fisheries and ecosystem-based management. Em função dessa demanda, o projeto Multimodalidade e Linguística Aplicada, vinculado ao grupo de pesquisas em Tecnologias em Linguística Aplicada (TecLA) do IFRS campus Rio Grande, dedicou-se à atividade de Curadoria Digital no Ensino de Línguas, que se debruçou à investigação teórico-prática de ferramentas digitais que auxiliam os docentes durante suas aulas, tendo como resultado final o material publicado neste repositório.

Figshare allows users to upload any file format to be previewed in the browser so that any research output from posters and presentations to datasets and code, can be disseminated in a way that the current scholarly publishing model does not allow.

In this resource, students will interpret the meanings of poems using similes and metaphors. The featured resource in the teacher modeling and guided practice sections utilizes the text Poetry for Young People: Langston Hughes edited by David Roessel and Arnold Rampersad.

 This plan was created by Jean Harper as part of the 2020 ESU-NDE  Learning Plan Project. Educators worked with coaches to create plans.The attached plan is designed for Grade 5th English Language Arts students. Students will analyze and evaluate the elements of literary text, build background knowledge to clarify text and deepen understanding, and use relevant evidence from a variety of sources to assist in analysis and reflection of complex text. This plan addresses the following NDE Standard: NE LA 5.1.6.a, LA 5.1.6.d, LA 5.1.6.k, LA 5.1.6.nIt is expected that this plan will take students 60 minutes to complete.

In this lesson, students will watch a video/teacher demonstration on how to properly fill a syringe.  The students will mime the procedure while the teacher reviews the procedures.  Students will also practice with a syringe, needle, and sterile water bottle.  Once the students are comfortable with the procedures, they will make a recording of their demonstration to be submitted for grading.NE.AFNR.HS.28.5.b or NE.AFNR.HS.29.5.b
