O app EcoGuardiões da Comunidade parte da necessidade de se criar uma ferramenta lúdica e acessível de promoção da Educação Ambiental e de cadeias econômicas de Turismo de Base Comunitária, integrando comunidades e escolas. O aplicativo possibilita o entretenimento educativo com o Quiz Ecológico e Dica EcoGuardiã, reunir informações locais e globais para sensibilização sobre a temática ambiental e sobre roteiros, produtos e atrativos deste turismo voltado ao bem viver, com espaços para avaliação e agendamento de visitas às comunidades periféricas e/ou tradicionais, criar uma Rede de Guardiões Socioambientais para articulações, denúncias ambientais e alimentação do próprio app através do elo entre comunidades e escolas, auxiliando assim no fortalecimento da participação coletiva, identificação e pertencimento com a estes espaços.

Abstract

Mathematics is the science of measurement, quantity and magnitude. Developing children's abilities for mathematics is the main goal of mathematics education. Its knowledge is exact, systematic, logical and clear. Mathematics involves the process for intellectual development of mental faculties. Besides the mental ability, mathematics develops some quality like concentration, truthfulness, seriousness and reasoning. Thus, in the words of Locke it is rightly said that, “Mathematics is a way to settle in the mind the habit of reasoning”. Statistics plays a vital role in every fields of human activity. It has important role in determining the existing position of per capita income, unemployment, population growth rate, housing, schooling medical facilities etc in a country. Modeling and Statistics are two branches of applied mathematics. Modeling involves fitting equations to data, usually just approximately. Statistics is the science of uncertainty. Mathematics is the most closely related subject “Statistics” in our daily life. This paper deals with the concept of the Mathematical techniques, Modeling .The Importance & Uses of Mathematical techniques and Modeling in the field of Statistics. It discusses the different Mathematical techniques and Modeling in respect to statistics. The paper also discusses “How to make statistics easy for learner by using Mathematical techniques and Modeling?”

In this problem set students are given Rb/Sr and 87Sr/86Sr data for whole rock and mineral samples from three granitic intrusions in the Sierra Nevada. They use these data (in EXCEL) to calculate isochron ages and initial ages for the intrusions and then interpret their results. "Acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) is an important bacterial disease of shrimp caused by some Vibrio species and has severe negative impacts on shrimp aquaculture globally. Antibiotics are commonly used prophylactically against such diseases but can cause bacterial antibiotic resistance and microbiome impairment. Given the risk of antibiotics to human and environmental health, the application of probiotics is a promising approach, but whether these probiotics affect the shrimp gut microbiome remains unknown. Recently, researchers examined how the shrimp gastrointestinal microbiota responded to the ILI strain, a Vibrio strain that also serves as an effective shrimp probiotic. An openly licensed applied calculus textbook, covering derivatives, integrals, and an intro to multivariable calculus. This book is heavily remixed from Dale Hoffman's Contemporary Calculus textbook, and retains the same conceptual focus from that text.

Applied Calculus instructs students in the differential and integral calculus of elementary functions with an emphasis on applications to business, social and life science. Different from a traditional calculus course for engineering, science and math majors, this course does not use trigonometry, nor does it focus on mathematical proofs as an instructional method.
