Creating an FSA ID is the first step to completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online, which is the quickest and easiest way to submit the application. Each student and their parent(s) must have a unique FSA ID in order to electronically sign the FAFSA. The FSA ID username and password are used to electronically sign the FAFSA and other important financial aid paperwork. It also grants you access to your online Federal Student Aid (FSA) account. Use this worksheet to help create an FSA ID.

Critical Language Service offers playlists with video lessons that explain the material in Alif Baa, Al-Kitaab 1 (through lesson 11), and a series on Egyptian vocabulary. Videos designed for the Alif Baa series focus on stories to illustrate new vocabulary while the series designed for Al-Kitaab explains grammatical concepts introduced in the books, and demonstrate proper pronunciation. They also offer a playlist of 60 cartoon episodes in Arabic.

This activity allows the students to discuss the burden of student loans and financing post-secondary education. An additional aspect to this activity is the mental health aspect regarding heavy debt loads for post-secondary. The discussion could include a debate on student loans, who is responsible and can a student "walk away" from this debt? Should the government pay for post-secondary education for everyone? If yes, would you be willing to pay more taxes for free post-secondary education?

Students often finance their post-secondary education, which can be very expensive over many years. How does a student pay this debt back if they are unable to finish their program, especially in expensive programs such as medicine or law?

This resource is ideal for seniors as they finish out their high school career. The e-portfolio is used as an exit interview that bridges the students from the high school marketing program (typically a work-based experience class) to the post-secondary level. The students create the e-portfolio in class, but present the e-portfolio to the admissions or student services staff of a local technical college. There are certain components, however, that are covered previously in the school year (such as the personality type assessment that is included). In order to prepare for the interview, students write out the ideal answers to common interview questions.
