Tá Falado includes 46 podcast lessons on the pronunciation and grammar of Portuguese, specifically designed to help those who already speak Spanish. The lessons are built around Portuguese dialogs that are repeated in Spanish, providing a direct comparison of the two languages. All lessons include downloadable PDF files with the transcripts and notes, mp3 audio files, and blog discussions. Additionally all of the dialogs present cultural scenarios that illustrate differences between North American and Brazilian culture.

The UCLA Phonetics Lab Archive includes samples taken from Egyptian, Iraqi, Najdi, North and South Levantine, and Tunisian dialects. The Arabic recordings consist almost exclusively of word lists read aloud to illustrate small differences in the pronunciation of the words. The Phonetics Laboratory includes recordings of hundreds of languages and provides them for free as source materials for phonetic and phonological research. Phonetic transcriptions are included alongside the recordings as are translations and scans of original field notes where relevant.

This is.a listening (audio and visual) task utilizing both individual and group work to construct meaning in the target language (Spanish) and to be able to communicate that meaning withing small and large group contexts.  Students will watch a video in Spanish, then talk about what they understood, first in pairs and then as a class.  Included in the lesson are the necessary resources as well as an assessment rubric, should the teacher choose to use one.

The four dictionaries are the Universal Dictionary, Wictionary, Wikipedia, and Omegawiki. Each of these dictionaries are also available for online use as well for those who don't want to download the information.

This fairly comprehensive website displays various conjugation rules for past and present tense verbs in a series of charts. Students are expected to read the author's explanation of the conjugation rules prior to viewing conjugated verb samples in each chart. Alongside modern standard conjugations, the site displays corresponding conjugations for Egyptian colloquial Arabic. Most categories of verbs (sound, weak, irregular, etc.) are displayed.
