Esta investigación analiza los niveles de ansiedad-rasgo y ansiedad-estado, modificando una ansiedad-estado como un estado emocional inmediato, evolucionando en el tiempo. Mientras que la ansiedad rasgo se refiere a diferencias individuales relativamente estables en la ansiedad. Tuvo como objetivo determinar niveles de ansiedad estado - rasgo en tiempos de pandemia Covid-19 en trabajadores de Red de Salud Angaraes - Huancavelica, 2021. Metodología: investigación básica, nivel descriptivo, método analítico sintético, diseño no experimental, transaccional, descriptivo, técnica utilizada, encuesta, se utilizó Inventario Ansiedad Rasgo Estado (IDARE), se tuvo muestra de 110 trabajadores. Resultados: Concerniente a niveles de ansiedad estado, se evidencia nivel bajo 7,27%, nivel medio 41,82% y 50,91% nivel alto. Respecto a ansiedad rasgo, 6.36%, nivel bajo, 40,91 % nivel medio y el 52,73% nivel alto. Respecto al género para ansiedad estado, para femeninos 2.73% nivel bajo, 20.00% nivel medio y 30.91% nivel alto; para masculinos, 4,55% nivel bajo, 21,82% nivel medio y 20,00% nivel alto. De acuerdo con el género, ansiedad rasgo, femeninos presentan 1,82% nivel bajo, 20.00% nivel medio y 31,82% nivel alto. Género masculino presentan 4,55% nivel bajo, nivel medio 20,91% y 20,91% nivel alto. Respecto a edad, trabajadores de 21 a 30 años presentan ansiedad estado en nivel bajo (2,7%), 22,7% nivel medio, y 9,1% nivel alto; de 31 a 40 años 2,7% nivel bajo, nivel medio 13,6%, y 34,5% nivel alto. Conclusión: Los trabajadores de la Red de Salud Angaraes, presentan nivel alto de ansiedad estado 50,91%, respecto a ansiedad rasgo, presentan un nivel alto 52,73%.

Antarctic Expedition involves a multi-issue negotiation between two university professors over resources for a proposed joint expedition to the Antarctic. Antarctic Expedition encompasses key negotiation concepts such as the best alternative to a negotiated agreement (BATNA), the worst alternative to a negotiated agreement (WATNA) and the zone of possible agreement (ZOPA). Students are also invited to examine the role of principled negotiation, and the applicability of standards and criteria. This simulation has been designed for third level students studying negotiation. "Among patients undergoing ACL reconstruction surgery, a high-grade pivot shift before surgery is widely considered to confer an increased risk of graft rupture and persistent instability after surgery. But what are the risk factors for high-grade pivot shifts themselves? A new study published in The American Journal of Sports Medicine reports injury to anterolateral structures as the most important risk factor for high-grade pivot shifts in patients suffering ACL injuries. The pivot shift test is the most specific physical exam for diagnosing ACL injuries. The examiner applies inward pressure on the lateral thigh with one hand while internally rotating the lower leg as the knee is flexed from a fully extended position. The presence of a pivot shift is indicated by an abrupt forward shift of the tibia back to its normal anatomical position. This shift is graded between 1 and 3 according International Knee Documentation Committee criteria, with 1 and 2 considered low grade, and 3 considered high grade..."

This exercise focuses on anthropogenic effects on erosion. It could be run as a single lab or as a series of in-class exercises or problem sets. We discussed an article by Hooke and used it as a launching pad for a discussion of back of the envelope calculations. Students then estimate the volume moved by mountain-top removal and how long it might take a river to mobilize that sediment. They estimate the cost for beach nourishment along Florida beaches. They estimate the contribution of local construction projects and road gravel to stream sediment loads. This activity gives students a chance to formulate a problem, make simple measurements, estimate unknowns, and calculate volumes, rates, and costs of various human earth-moving activities.

This course introduces students to some of the major social theories and debates that inspire and inform anthropological analysis. Over the course of the semester, we will investigate a range of theoretical propositions concerning such topics as agency, structure, subjectivity, history, social change, power, culture, and the politics of representation. Ultimately, all theories can be read as statements about human beings and the worlds they create and inhabit. We will approach each theoretical perspective or proposition on three levels: (1) in terms of its analytical or explanatory power for understanding human behavior and the social world; (2) in the context of the social and historical circumstances in which they were produced; and (3) as contributions to ongoing dialogues and debate.
