El concepto de innovación educativa resulta cada día más ambiguo e impreciso por la falta de claridad en cuanto a concretar si estamos hablando de acciones y proyectos puntuales o por el contrario nos referimos a una dinámica que se genera en el seno de la comunidad de aprendizaje. Esa es la razón clave que nos lleva a plantearnos la necesidad de indagar sobre este tema.Nuestro objetivo es contribuir a generar esa dinámica de innovación sostenible en los centros educativos de manera que desde la respuesta que cada claustro da a las necesidades del alumnado surjja la vivencia de la innovacion. Para ello ha sido muy importante construir una fundamentación teórica que da soporte a la herramienta que hemos ccreado y utilizado para la recogida de información.Resulta complicado resumir los resultados por ser una investigación centrada en la narrativa, el discuro y la identidad de cada centro en torno a la innovación, sin embargo, podemos recoger que la utilización de la rúbrica construida, nos ha permitido realizar una propuesta de rasgos que pueden ser considerados claves para la sostenibilidad de la innovación.Y, finalmente, señalar que las conclusiones significan una puerta abierta para seguir indagando sobre el tema de la innovación educativa desde la vivencia que tiene lugar en cada uno de los centros educativos.
