In addition, instructors can use Gen Chem placement exams for advising, video lectures with embedded quizlets, reading assignments with key concept questions and clicker-less in-class polls to sharpen student engagement. Student licenses are only $2 USD per month or $16 USD/year. Institutions can purchase student licenses in bulk for as little as $2/student/year.

This game is designed to test, reinforce, and enhance students' understanding of Disability Rights Law. I've used it in several different ways: as a game that students play in class, with a prize for the winning student or team (playing the game and discussing the correct answers takes about one hour of class time); as a closed-book quiz that students take in class, followed by discussion of the correct answers (again, about one hour of class time); and as an open-book assignment that students complete before class, followed by discussion of the correct answers in class (about 30 minutes of class time).

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and National Geographic commissioned a survey to gauge what young people educated in American colleges and universities know about geography, the environment, demographics, U.S. foreign policy, recent international events, and economics. The survey, conducted in May 2016 among 1,203 respondents aged eighteen to twenty-six, revealed significant gaps between what young people understand about today’s world and what they need to know to successfully navigate and compete in it. Included on site is the full survey report (PDF) and a sample quiz of some of the survey questions.
